Industrial Compressor Cleaning System

Industrial Compressor
3% performance recovery, 1% heat rate

and 2% availability improvements

demonstrated recovery and erosion robustness

Optimized nozzle placement better cleans

Reduces water consumption by almost 65%

Gas Turbine Compressors consume roughly 60% of the general cycle energy during operation. This cycle consumes extremely big amounts of air and though this air is filtered, tiny quantities of dust, aerosols and water pass thru the filters and deposit on the blades. Compressor Cleaning can be attained with a routine program of water washing. There are 2 water wash maneuvers performed on gas turbines : Off-Line and On-Line. Both Operations use highly atomized water spray patterns designed to utterly enter the compressor core.
